Dr. Jacob H. Utterback

Dr. Jacob H. Utterback grew up in the St. Louis area and completed his high school education at Chaminade College Preparatory. He went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science with a minor in Biology from Truman State University in Kirksville, Missouri. He later received a second Bachelor of Science in Human Biology from Logan College of Chiropractic, where he also obtained his Doctor of Chiropractic degree.

As part of his chiropractic training, Dr. Utterback spent two years gaining hands-on clinical experience at the Logan College of Chiropractic Clinic. He began his professional career practicing as an associate doctor in Creve Coeur, Missouri, for three years before joining the team at Kirkwood Spine and Rehab. Dr. Utterback holds a chiropractic license in the state of Missouri.

With a wide range of clinical knowledge, Dr. Utterback is skilled in caring for patients across all age groups—from newborns to seniors. He employs several chiropractic methods, including Diversified, Gonstead, Thompson, Activator, Cox Flexion-Distraction, extremity adjustments, and various soft tissue techniques. His treatment approach is tailored to each individual's needs, offering safe and effective chiropractic care.

These adjustments are often enhanced by additional therapies and rehabilitation, such as traction, interferential stimulation, muscle stimulation, ultrasound, cryotherapy (ice), and moist heat therapy. Dr. Utterback is currently accepting new patients and is happy to address any questions you may have regarding chiropractic care or overall health.
